		<description>I&#039;m friends with Kyle and Maya (the couple Sarah mentioned who sell Vineterrta at the Farmers Markets every summer). Kyle is now putting together a website so his customers can find him and buy Vineterra year round! ;) Yum! I saw the site just after Maya loaded the info onto it &amp; i beleive it&#039;s kylescakes.com     
Kyle has put on there that there&#039;s a minimum order of 6 cakes,but that&#039;s mostly so the shipping doesn&#039;t make it impossible to send it out of province. For people in southwestern Manitoba who can pick it up, smaller orders can be arranged! enjoy to your taste buds delight!</description>

		<description>Thanks for posting this!  I&#039;ve found that a lot of people get grossed out by Icelandic food before they&#039;ve even tried it.  (I&#039;ve offered various food items to friends and been met with looks of extreme disgust!)  You&#039;ve definitely done the tastiness of vinetarte justice and made the process seem less intimidating.  For people who still find the task too daunting, you can purchase cookie-sized vinetartes called &quot;Vienna Tortes&quot; from Dessert Sinsations on St. Mary&#039;s Avenue near the Bay Downtown.  I&#039;ve never tried them, but they look pretty good.

As for the icing debate, I&#039;m fond of un-iced vinetarte if it&#039;s coming straight out of the deep freeze and you&#039;re eating it cold.  If you&#039;re eating it at room temperature, I think a thin layer of almond icing (with a fairly solid consistency) is a nice touch.  As you can tell, I&#039;m a bit of a vinetarte snob. :)

BTW, I&#039;ve heard that vinetarte is an Icelandic-Canadian thing as opposed to a true Icelandic tradition.  Does anyone know?</description>
